Hooray for Hollywood!

Hooray for Hollywood! is a show dedicated to the most famous song and dance moments of the last 50 years of movie history, recreated live on stage. Show goers will be treated to a nostalgic journey through the most popular movie musicals of the last 50 years. Film clips will be shown and then the live action will unfold, featuring Branson Variety’s talents singers and dancers. Everything from “Singin’ in the Rain” to “The Lion king” will be performed. This show is being produced by the award winning production team that brought Spirit of the Dance to Branson.

Shake, Rattle & Roll

Branson Variety Theater proudly announces a new production filled with a hand jivin’, good timin’ 50’s Rock and Roll dance party. Shake, Rattle & Roll – The Best Hits of the 50’s will be a celebration of songs and dance brought to you by a large cast and a live band. Created in London, England, by our multi award winner Executive Producer David King, who has created one of the biggest and best 50's shows Branson has ever seen in Shake, Rattle & Roll – The Best Hits of the 50’s! This show will take you on a trip down memory lane with your favorite 50’s songs such as; “Good Golly Miss Molly”, “Da Do Ron Ron”, “Rock Around the Clock”, “Only You”, “Blue Suede Shoes” and many, many more. Within the era of 1950’s, this show will be a doo-wop complete with poodle skirts and bobby socks. Branson Variety Theater is thrilled to announce the North American Debut of this amazing hit show. Christmas will definitely be a hit with Shake Rattle & Roll! Enjoy your favorite 50’s Christmas songs, along with the best of the 50’s.

The Twelve Irish Tenors

Captivating to audiences of all ages, the overnight blockbuster hit, The Twelve Irish Tenors continues to deliver the greatest voices to ever ensemble together on stage! 

These twelve handsome, incredibly talented, harmonizing young men showcase their amazing harmonies while performing a large variety of the greatest music of the 20th Century.  With a touch of Irish charm, this masterpiece showcases their unbelievable vocals and choreography to a cleverly constructed selection of Irish folk, Opera, Pop, Swing, Jazz and Gospel.  They deliver hit after hit, including favorites such as; “Danny Boy”, “Hey Jude”, “I Believe” and the NEWEST additions for 2008 including; “We Are The Champions”, “Unchained Melody”, “Hello” and a SPECIAL Glenn Miller segment featuring “Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree”, “Pennsylvania 6-5000”, “In The Mood” and more.

Spirit of Christmas

Your Christmas trip to Branson wouldn't be complete without attending the Spirit of Christmas with Special Guest Stars, The Osmonds! (November 1st through December 13th.)  A sparkling cast of singers and dancers that take you on an unforgettable singers and dancers that take you on an unforgettable and magical sleigh ride to the Grandest Christmas Extravaganza. This festive musical holiday trip, celebrates Christmas in all its glory featuring your favorite holiday classics. Returning for their 5th Christmas season in Branson, The Osmonds (Jimmy, Wayne, and Jay) take center stage throughout the show, showcasing their unique charisma, their witty humor, and amazing musical harmonies. Don't miss this mystical production featuring a magnificent cast ringing in the spirit of the Christmas season together with high-energy segments, elaborate costumes, beautiful scenery, and gorgeous production numbers designed for the holiday season and the highest kicking chorus girls this side of the North Pole.

Student Programs

The beautiful Branson Variety Theater is the perfect place for students! We entertain a large amount of pre-show student groups throughout the year, including performance and educational. Our elaborate theater contains a 1,600 seat capacity and features a very large stage, able to accommodate any size or form of student groups. During the "on season for students", we feature Broadway! The Star-Spangled Celebration, The Twelve Irish Tenors and Spirit of the Dance. These shows have proven to be very popular with the student market and are considered both educational and performance style. We offer very competitive student rates for pre-show student groups and/or student groups attending our shows.
